STATEMENT BY SENATOR JOHN McCAIN ON LOSS OF U.S. MARINES IN AFGHANISTAN

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator John McCain (R-AZ) today released the following statement:
“I am deeply saddened to learn of the deaths of Lt. Col. Christopher K. Raible and Sgt. Bradley W. Atwell in Afghanistan on Saturday. These men, assigned to the Marine Corps Air Station in Yuma, Arizona, represent the very best that our nation has to offer and their service and sacrifice will never be forgotten. My thoughts and prayers are with their loved ones.”
