STATEMENT BY SENATOR JOHN McCAIN

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator John McCain (R-AZ) today released the following statement regarding sending additional National Guard troops to our border:
“In light of the requests by Arizona Governor Jan Brewer and Texas Governor Rick Perry and the continued escalation of violence, I support sending National Guard troops to assist with securing our southern border and stemming the flow of violence spilling over into the United States,” said Senator John McCain.
